New Wykeham bench installed on Beverley Westwood

Beverley Westwood is a beautiful open space located on the west edge of Beverley, a market town in East Yorkshire, England. It is known for its lush green pastures and serves as a popular recreational area for both locals and visitors. The Westwood is an ideal spot for families to enjoy various activities, including walking, picnicking, and dog walking. It offers a peaceful environment with plenty of space to explore.
It is also home to a lot of our wooden benches and we are pleased to announce a new addition to the Westwood family, nestled in a quiet corner just on the edge of the Westwood next to the Beverley Golf Club, overlooking the fields and local walking paths.
The bench in question is the Wykeham wooden bench with it's simplicity and solidity and enduring elegance that makes it a perfect addition to any park, woodland or countryside trail.

The bench carries a stainless steel memorial plaque and is dedicated to the memory of a well known and beloved local doctor who dedicated their life to caring for others
It’s a lovely place to sit, reflect, and remember the incredible contributions this doctor made to our community.
