Mendip memorial bench installed at Risby Folly

We now have some pictures of our 8 foot Mendip memorial bench installed at Risby Folly. This is a follow up to our previous post where we were making the bench which you can find here: Mendip bench to be sited at local fishing spot.

Risby Folly in East Riding of Yorkshire, situated north of Kingston upon Hull, is a hidden gem of a walk rambling through parkland and lakeside.

We built this eight foot Mendip memorial bench for a customer who wanted to commemorate a loved one and place it in a lovely spot by the lake side and secluded fishing spot at Risby.

The memorial bench carries the curved top rail which is engraved with a fitting tribute. With the bench being eight foot long, the frame is supported by a centre leg which ensures sturdiness throughout.

We really love this place and so happy that we were able to place one of our benches by the lakeside. We hope it lasts a long long time and provide a resting spot for many walkers and anglers alike.
