Our vintage Lutyens garden benches are spotted in Scotland
Posted on April 10, 2019
Barry, one of our very earliest customers who bought a bench from us over 20 years ago was on holiday in the North West of Scotland when he saw our five Lutyens benches in Inverewe Gardens that we supplied in 2012.
Inverewe is a National Trust of Scotland property, and we delivered the benches to Culloden Battlefield, another Trust property. Inverewe Gardens then collected them from Culloden for the rest of the journey north.
They appear to have weathered well throughout the Scottish seasons and have clearly been placed in some extremely attractive parts of the gardens.
Inverewe botanical gardens in the Scottish Highlands is located on the banks of Loch Ewe, just to the north of Poolewe in Wester Ross, and is noted for the breadth of its collection of beautiful plants, shrubs and trees which is developed by the small garden team. It is open all year round to the public for visits, walks and events to inspire the gardener and anyone who appreciates the great outdoors.
The gardens themselves are fantastic and we love these pictures of our Lutyens benches fitting in nicely.
