Merry Christmas from Woodcraft UK and Looking forward to 2020

Posted on December 21, 2019

From all of us at Woodcraft UK we would like to wish all our customers and followers a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

2019 has yet again proved to be a very busy year for us at Woodcraft with some really big projects completed. Here are some of the highlights.

Regents Park bespoke wooden benches

Our first batch of completed park benches destined for The Regents Park in London were installed. The Regent wooden benches were manufactured entirely out of FSC certified Iroko with COC (chain of custody) certification coming from sustainable sources. The benches are now in situ and being enjoyed by the public. Click here for more information on our Regent's Park bench

We triumphed at the 2019 RHS Chelsea Flower Show where our bench was installed in the Family Monsters Garden, which won Gold Medal for Best Artisan Garden at 2019!

This was the second year in a row we have been featured in an award winning garden design at the RHS Flower Shows. Click here for more information on our garden bench at RHS Chelsea Flower Show and production of the RHS garden bench.

The York Garden Bench fit for a Bronze Sculpture

We were delighted to have been approached by artist Jill Atley to create a garden bench for her sculpture "Yorkshireman on a bench" which featured in a sculpture exhibition on display at Newby Hall and Gardens, Ripon, North Yorkshire. We modified the design of our York garden bench with each dimension customised to adapt to the bronze sculpture. Here is our original post on our garden bench at the Sculpture Exhibition.

Our Staxton Benches head to Badger Heights in Tangmere.

We supplied our Staxton garden benches to a new delightfully landscaped energy efficient housing development in Bader Heights in Tangmere, Chichester, West Sussex. We built and installed the garden benches and they now form an integral part in surroundings of the housing estate. Here is our post on the Staxton Garden bench at Badger Heights.

Looking Forward to 2020 and Woodcraft at 30!

So 2019 has proved to be a creative and productive year for us and, with 2020 ahead, we know that we have some great new exciting projects ready to embark on.

2020 is set to be a very exciting time for the UK in general for which we are happy to play a part in the country's prosperity by continuing to move our business forward.

Next year will also see our 30th Anniversary so expect some celebrations from us at Woodcraft towers which may include the odd special offer. It will also see the final development of our Saltwick modular garden and park bench and we will launch it in due course.

We hope that you have had a great year too and would like to wish all of our customers, old and new, the very best wishes for Christmas and a prosperous New Year for 2020!

All the best
