All I can say is WOW!!!!!…….. we should have been buying our benches from you ages ago.  The quality of the build and the timber used far far exceeds that of what we had been getting from Lister over the past 3-4 years…..and I am not just saying that as it is a nice thing to do., really mean it.  They have just arrived in just the same condition as they no doubt left your workshop.

Hey everybody. Just want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy New year. We will be welcoming in the New Year with a new brochure and website for 2012, showcasing all of our great outdoor wooden furniture as well as some new designs and features. Our new line in hardwood bollards has proven a success this year and we are now producing new designs to satisfy the growing market. We are finding a lot of homeowners are installing our very cost effective solutions for perimeter and driveway posts and bollards. Local councils and local authorities are turning to us as a way to preserve grass verges and discourage anti-social parking. With reflector strips and ergonomic shapes, our hardwood bollards add style to road sides and grass verges particularly in conservation areas where natural materials are the preferred choice for any street furniture. We are joining the campaign to get the Government to reduce the VAT duty on eco friendly products such as responsibly sourced timber and other green goods in a bid to make living a sustainable way of life more affordable. We also believe that the various standards and assurances regarding the sourcing of timber and paper based products need to be upheld by a truly independent worldwide body to allow ALL deforestation companies and forest management organisations that act responsibly to be able to carry a green standard and not just the select few who can afford to pay for their subscription to the current ’green’ schemes.

We always believe in acting responsibly when sourcing the materials we use for the making of our luxury wooden garden furniture, however, occasionally the price of buying timber that carries the various green awards can make the end cost uncompetitive. Any timber we source that doesn’t carry the assurance logos is just as green and just as responsibly managed and as such we believe that these companies who can’t afford to pay a subscription to the various schemes should be allowed to have the same rights as wealthier companies who can afford it. In turn this will allow for a lot of companies in the UK a fairer chance at winning new clients in the tendering process.
